Better Life Church
Beliefs
-
1
We believe the Bible is God-inspired, empowered, infallible, and authoritative.
-
2
We believe in one eternal God who exists in three distinct persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
-
3
We believe Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, revealed God's power and authority, died on the cross, rose on the third day, and is now seated at God's right hand, having secured salvation for humanity.
-
4
We believe it is essential for man to repent of sin and, through faith, accept Christ's finished work by confessing Him as Lord and believing in His heart, leading to regeneration by the Holy Spirit.
-
5
We believe the Holy Spirit continues the work begun at Pentecost, empowering believers to live godly lives and carry on the works of Jesus.
-
6
We believe in the imminent return of Jesus, where believers will be resurrected to eternal life in glorified bodies, and those who do not believe will face eternal punishment alongside Satan and his followers.
-
7
We believe the true Church is made up of all born-again believers in Christ, regardless of denomination.
-
8
We believe all born-again believers are commissioned to share the full Gospel with the world.
-
9
Marriage is a union between a man and a woman. Marriage is a permanent, exclusive union between one man and one woman, as ordained by God.

We believe we are under the new covenant of grace. The law, given through Moses, demands righteousness, but grace, through Jesus, offers it as a gift. Moses' first miracle brought death; Jesus' brought life and celebration. "The letter kills, but the Spirit gives life" (2 Corinthians 3:6).

We believe that through the cross, all who believe in Jesus are under the new covenant of grace. The law condemns the guilty, but under grace, God forgives and remembers sins no more (Hebrews 8:12). The law is man-centered, requiring our effort for justification, while grace is Jesus-centered, based on His finished work. Under the law, we are disqualified by disobedience; under grace, we are qualified by Jesus’ obedience.
